Makeup purses

This is a great gift for christmas or birthdays. You can make them in any kind of fabric, embellish them with beads, sequins or embroidery yarn.

The pattern of the purse is not with at small pocket on the inside, but I almost always designed it with a small pocket inside.

My sister asked me to make a bigger purse for her makeup stuff, and of course in pink :) It's cotton fabric on the in- and outside.

This was a christmas gift for my cousin Nanna. It's made from flax, and the inside is cotton with a small pocket. She is going to travel and will use it for her personal things.

This one is made for a customer, she was very happy with it.

Mummi made of breads

Hama breads can be a lot of fun making. So I spent a pleasant afternoon with my cousins making this giant Mummi. Great wall decoration

Dresses

First there was designed one, now there is two of them. A jersey dress with two triangles of shiny fabric in front. One in gray and black, the other all black.

Sleeping bag holster by Rascal

A friend has thrown his holster to his sleeping bag away, and I offered to sew a Rascal holster to him. And I must say I'm envious of it now.. So maybe I should sew one for myself too!

Idea. . .

Today I would have made a hoodie, that I had in mind for a long time. But then I found out I have no pattern paper in the house, so now it has to wait until I buy some paper.. So far it is just an idea!

Warm hoodie

I made this nice hoodie as a gift for a friend. It is made in 100 % wool, from Strange Collection from Ry. They produce very nice knit fabric, in top quality.

Rascal Skirt

I've made a tulle skirt on order for a customer. I think it's nice and I can't wait to hear the customer's opinion.

IPod bag

I've been lucky enough to borrow my dad's ipod, to find out whether I should buy one myself. And I hate having to hold it or carry it in a pocket, it is not practical. I have a bag for my old ipod that I can have around my neck, it is so easy when you sew or are on a train. So I made a small bag for my dad's ipod :D

I took a piece of fake leather, and found a picture of a sugar skull on the internet, which I transferred onto the piece of fake leather.

The suit - part 1.

I have made the first sample of the jacket of the suit, and it is looking great. There is only a few corrections to make, and then I have to draw the collar on the pattern. Hopefully I have a good looking jacket soon :)

Idea for my new suit

I'm planing to make myself a new suit. My plan is to make a suit with a small pieces of leather. On the jacket there will be small pieces of leather at the sleeves and the top collar. The bottom of the jacket will be curved, and the front goes into peaks. I would like to make a dress which matches the jacket, so the dress has small leather pieces at the front and on the hips.

Dress project

This is a dress project I did while I was studying at Teko.
I made a dress with lace top and a simple bottom in black. As a little twist there is a small detail with notches at the top. And it's tilted, and come in from each side. When I had finished the dress I thought it was a little too simple, so I made a bloody print on the side of the skirt, which I think gave the dress the oomph that was missing.

Jacket project

This is a jacket project I did while I was studying at Teko. I made a two coloured denim jacket with princess cut, and with front and sleeve out in one piece. Blue denim at the sides, a stripe on the sleeve and a middle path at the hood. There is a hidden pocket on each side, between the two side pieces. Lining is a woolen material, almost like the fur of a sheep.

I started this blog to share my work and to use it as my personal portfolio.

I am a graduate from Teko Center Danmark in Herning as Designteknolog. My passion is different and exciting design, it can be furniture, clothing, graphic design, however I only create clothes myself and of course play with graphic design.

This blog will contain my designs, which go under the name of Rascal, as well as other creative stuff I spend my time on.
